Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends and receive everything you wished for!
It’s just my parents and my brother for the holidays, which alleviates some of the dealing-with-relatives-asking-you-a-million-questions stress. It makes it more relaxing as we exchange gifts, eat food, and maybe watch a Christmas movie or two. It’s pretty nice.
I was also thankful that my job gave all of it’s full-time employees a decently-sized turkey. I might not be able to eat it (woohoo for vegetarian life), but I’m glad that my family will enjoy it. Personally, I’m hyped for the Christmas cookies that my mom baked yesterday. I don’t remember what they’re called, but she made a batch of pecan ones and then a batch that have Hershey kisses in the center.
I know Christmas can be a difficult time depending on how your year went-maybe you lost someone who you normally spent the holidays with, maybe you’ve been struggling financially, or perhaps this year you couldn’t travel to be with the people you love. No matter what happens, I hope you can still find a little joy this Christmas with what you do have and have people to support you.
Again, happy holidays to you all! 🙂
