10 Questions About Fall

I was tagged for these fall questions by Rambling Woman (check out her 10 Questions About Fall post too). I figured it would be a great post to write and publish right now to get in the fall spirit. Let’s get into the questions!

1. What is one candle you MUST light every fall?

Summer and fall-themed candles are my favorites. I love most fall scents, so I have plenty that I enjoy lighting (especially pumpkin scents). The one I currently have burning is called Pumpkin Waffles.

2. When you think of fall, what does it remind you of?

It reminds me of cooler temperatures, changing leaves, and Halloween. It also reminds me of traveling. When I was in middle school, I was in a year round school and was on the track that had most of October off. My family would normally take a short trip to the mountains in our RV. Then in college I had fall break, and October/November was normally when I had the most quidditch tournaments to travel to.

3. What is your all-time favorite fall/Halloween movie?

Lately, I have been terrible at watching Halloween movies when the time comes around, but I used to absolutely love the Halloweentown movies when I was growing up.

4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?

I’m not sure what event I could go to this Halloween since I’ve moved and don’t know as many people around here. I think if I do, I will reuse one of my old costumes. I’ll probably be Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn since I love the Gotham City Sirens. Plus, I actually made my Poison Ivy costume myself a few years ago, so I definitely need to use it again!

5. What is your favorite fall trend?

I’m not really sure. Maybe boots and beanies.

6. What you think of fall, what drink comes to mind?

Probably pumpkin spice-flavored coffee drinks, although I honestly will only have a couple throughout the season. When I started working at a coffee shop a couple of months ago, a coworker made me a pretty delicious apple cider drink (I forget what he heated it up with-maybe caramel and cinnamon?) that reminded me of the fall as well.

7. What is your go-to fall beauty product? A must-have staple!

I don’t have any particular product that I use in the fall. I normally change my nails to darker shades (although I tend to like darker colors anyway). I admire all the darker lipsticks and red/orange-ish eyeshadow shades, but I use these when I go out during any season.

8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?

I actually don’t like pie (an unpopular opinion, I know), so the desserts during the fall season are a bit disappointing to me. If I had to eat pie though, I think I would rather have apple.

9. Do you have any fall traditions? If so, tell us all about them!

Not really. I normally go to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving; sometimes we go out for Thanksgiving and sometimes my mom will cook.

10. The moment of truth, is fall your favorite season?

Yep! I always look forward to October. I feel like it’s October when I finally get into a routine and start getting things done (especially when I was a student). November’s not that bad either.
