March Bullet Journal

I started bullet journaling at the beginning of 2020, and let me tell you-it’s been difficult for me to keep up with! It’s nearly the end of March, yet I finally wrapped up my spread-just in time to start April’s. Since I’m stuck at home and am ahead of my courses right now, I should hopefully be able to work on my bullet journal more often!

Although it’s late, here is my bullet journal spread for March!

March Cover Page

Since March includes the first day of spring, I thought I would feature Poison Ivy on the cover page for the month (along with more of a plant/jungle theme throughout March). It was a terrible idea, because the more in-depth the cover page is, the less likely it is that I’m going to finish it before the month is over. I did manage to get a simple page with Poison Ivy, but I’m probably going to look for something more simple in the future!

Monthly Overview

This is pretty much the same from my January spread. I simply write down any major events, holidays, and birthdays. I also have sections for goals, budgets, ideas, and favorites for the month.

Spring Bucket List

Since it is a new season, I added a spring bucket list! I’m probably going to have to revise it with all of the coronavirus restrictions (the travel and event-based items are not likely to happen anymore), but I still included a few that I can still accomplish from home.

Weekly Tasks

This month I used some jungle/leaf-themed washi tape to decorate my weekly spread. I still have the boxes separated into scheduled plans (work, volunteering, quidditch, social), daily tasks, school, and blog/YouTube. I also have a side section for any notes/weekly to-do lists.

This image was taken before I filled this week in-they normally don’t look as empty as this!

I have added this page since starting my bullet journal back in January, and it creates a space for me to jot down any movies, books, and tv shows that I have watched. It also includes a section to write the blog posts I published and YouTube videos that I uploaded so I can see how frequently I have been posting. I thought it would be something that would be fun to look back on later!

The last page for my March bullet journal is a section for my playlist. I like to create a new playlist on Spotify every month, and like the reflections, I thought it would be neat to see what I was listening to each month (especially if they end up getting deleted from my account)!

Things I Hope To Work On Next Month

  • Finishing the layout at the beginning of the month
  • Using more stickers
  • Creating a simpler cover page
  • Including more quotes

What type of bullet journal themes have you used (or would you use) for March? Are you good at keeping up with your bullet journal or do you struggle like me?

  1. Omg is that Poison Ivy featured on your March cover page? The drawing looks incredible!! I really like how clean your spread is and how you’ve included a section for reflection and for your monthly playlist! I fell off with my BuJo so I need to get my act together and start using it again.

    • Yess I love Poison Ivy! And thank you! ☺️ Bullet journals can be difficult to keep up with, but they are really fun and are great at keeping things organized! I hope you get the chance to start using yours again!

  2. I’ve always wanted to get into using a bullet journal. Right now I just use a planner and notebook. I love your spread for March and your Poison Ivy drawing is awesome.
