March Library Haul

Good afternoon everyone! Today was a strange day. I almost made it to work before receiving a call from my boss telling me not to come into work today. Apparently, the internet wasn’t working properly at work, so everyone was going home. If there aren’t any customers, there’s no point in having me there. Don’t worry-my boss at least paid me for thirty minutes since he informed me of this incident so late. I wasn’t about to let my trip into town go to waste though-I met with an academic advisor for my community classes (surprisingly, they have a building that’s literally five minutes from my job), and I FOUND A LIBRARY!

To be honest, I think I visited this library a couple of times when I was in high school because it was closer to my school. Normally, however, I used another one that was closer to my house. Both are in the same county though, so my card works at both. I was a bit nervous about using my card because I only used it a couple of times these past five years when I was visiting my family from college. My parents also moved to another county (although we’re basically on the border and still frequently shop/work in that area), so I wasn’t sure if my card would still work.

February Book Haul

For my birthday last month, I received a gift card to Barnes & Noble. It didn’t take me long to pick out a few books! I feel like I chose a decent amount of romantic ones, so this haul is perfect for February (you know, with Valentine’s Day and all)!

In this post, I’m going to include links to each book’s page on Goodreads (feel free to follow me on Goodreads too) in case you want to read an in-depth summary. Also, before we get into this post, I wanted to let you all know that I was featured on Rachel’s blog, Another Station, Another Mile, as the blogger of the month! Go on over to her post and read my answers to her questions! Her blog has a variety of content that includes books, travel, conservation, music, etc., so I’d recommend checking out her other posts as well!

February Book Haul

febbooks

Hello everyone! After having a busy weekend, I went shopping at a few restore shops and a used bookstore. These places are great for discounted books; some might be worn, but there are quite a few in great condition. My boyfriend challenged me to find some novels that were outside the young adult genre, and I believe I succeeded. Since I’ve been falling behind on my to-be-read lists (I’ve had so many things to do and work’s been changing my schedule like crazy), I decided to share my haul with you guys! Hopefully I’ll be able to read these soon.
