Good Reading Habits Tag

goodreadinghabits1

I was nominated for the Good Reading Habits tag by Macey at Brine and Books. She has a lovely blog with lifestyle, book, and writing posts, so be sure to check out her site!

I was quite excited to see this tag as I’ve been trying to get back into reading lately! I never stopped reading, but throughout college and postgraduate life, I was so caught up with classes and work that I didn’t read as often as I wanted to. For the past year or so, however, I have been allocating more of my free time to reading! I’m still not where I would like to be, but I do have some good habits to share!

Anyways, for this tag, all you have to do is discuss your good reading habits, tag back to the original creator, and tag a few friends!

Good afternoon everyone! Today was a strange day. I almost made it to work before receiving a call from my boss telling me not to come into work today. Apparently, the internet wasn’t working properly at work, so everyone was going home. If there aren’t any customers, there’s no point in having me there. Don’t worry-my boss at least paid me for thirty minutes since he informed me of this incident so late. I wasn’t about to let my trip into town go to waste though-I met with an academic advisor for my community classes (surprisingly, they have a building that’s literally five minutes from my job), and I FOUND A LIBRARY!

To be honest, I think I visited this library a couple of times when I was in high school because it was closer to my school. Normally, however, I used another one that was closer to my house. Both are in the same county though, so my card works at both. I was a bit nervous about using my card because I only used it a couple of times these past five years when I was visiting my family from college. My parents also moved to another county (although we’re basically on the border and still frequently shop/work in that area), so I wasn’t sure if my card would still work.
